A practical 30/60/90-day GTM build plan

What a fractional GTM operator can realistically diagnose, ship, instrument, and improve in the first three months.

The first three months should produce useful infrastructure and enough real usage to see what needs to improve next.

Days 1-30: map the path and ship the first link

  • Map the current customer, account, and data journey
  • Define the bottleneck and a measurable operating outcome
  • Audit CRM, website, outbound, automation, and reporting
  • Repair the highest-risk handoff
  • Establish a baseline dashboard and decision rhythm

Days 31-60: connect the core flow

  • Build the core lifecycle, routing, acquisition, or automation flow
  • Add QA, alerts, ownership, and documentation
  • Train the people who act on the output
  • Run real records through the system and fix edge cases

Days 61-90: operate, measure, and improve

  • Review conversion and cycle-time signals
  • Refine targeting, message, stages, and automations
  • Remove recurring manual work
  • Expand the next highest-leverage system
  • Set the ongoing ownership model

The scope changes with the company and motion. The working sequence stays simple: understand, ship, observe, and improve.
